The first annual Louisiana Film Prize is now accepting submissions for the chance to win $50,000 for an independently produced, live-action narrative film between five and 15 minutes long. The catch, especially for New Orleans filmmakers? Your film has to be shot in the Shreveport-Bossier City area—no exceptions, and you have to be able to prove it. All post-production, music, effects, etc. can be done right here in New Orleans as nature intended.
