Memorial Drive

A WWII veteran is held hostage in a self-driving car that drives him to challenge not only his memory but also his character when he is delivered to the doorstep of a place he should have gone a long time ago.

Directed By: Austin Alward

Written By: Sandra Wilaut

Produced By: Nick Thomas

Starring: Jerry Leggio and Michele Dumas; Also starring: John Richie, Rod Phillips, and June Phillips

Cinematography By: Paul Marschall

Director’s Bio: As a camerman, Austin is fortunate to work on a wide range of projects from feature films (21 Jump Street, I Saw The Light, Wolverine) to documentaries (Elton John, Mary Lou Retton) to TV (Roots, Queen Sugar, Scream Queens). Last year he and his family of friends set out to make a little movie of their own for a change, and they were honored to reach the LAFP Top 5 with “Honey and the Hive.” It was an experience that has helped inspire their commitment to double down on developing original narrative content that is written, produced, and completed right here at home in Hollywood South — Louisiana, USA.
