Filming in Shreveport-Bossier City on public property requires a free filming permit from the Shreveport-Bossier Film Commission. A copy of the permit application can be found below:

There are two Film Liaisons representing the Shreveport-Bossier Metroplex. Please contact the Film Commission before contacting parks, buildings, or other public locations so the proper people can be involved from the start. If you have questions about the film industry and how it works for our area, please reach out to them:

City and Parish of Natchitoches

Filming in Natchitoches Parish and the City of Natchitoches on public property does not generally require a filming permit. However, the main street downtown DOES have a permitting process for certain situations, such as stopping traffic, loud music, or reserving the riverbank.
